DJ Home Movies When it comes to techno, acid, EBM, and other genres fit for warehouse sets, Germany has and plays them in spades. No shortage of labels, artists, or tracks to drop the ceiling from its base. With that amount, you'd think it'd get dull, right? AEEN! WRONG! No matter how vast the talent pool, Basic Unit keeps themselves afloat with crazy tracks and respectable artists. This comp serves as a reminder of that. Favorite track: Rule Forever.

Jon Excellent sampler. Full of really interesting concepts and styles that really highlight the quality coming out of the BUP label. Shows a lot of promise for the present and future of "industrial" music. My one complaint: The packaging and shipping of this cd was shoddy. My copy arrived bent and the disc had all kinds of dust and crap on it. Bad form. If BUP tightens up their S&H they'll be a top notch label. Now jam to these sweet tracks again. Favorite track: I Am Freak.
